Newbery display.

Wanted to share my Newbery display with you all!

The cards in the top of each book indicate the year it won the Newbery. I'm thinking about pulling them out, though, because people keep asking me if it's okay to check out the books on the display. My Caldecott display is circulating much better (I've replenished it several times a day since I put it up the day the awards were announced) without the year cards. Sometimes fancier isn't better!

Kate - the display and the new shelving unit look GREAT! Nice poster, too!

Clear, clean, uncluttered, and simple: great job, Kate! Even though the patrons keep asking (and that can be taxing), I'd leave the date tags in; it gives a sense of history and an overall context...hmm...that probably only a librarian would notice...ah, well...great display! ;o)

This was AWESOME! Too bad I didn't think of it. But you have a great place to display things...
