I'm getting ready to do a toddler storytime to help kids and caregivers beat this awful heat, but I'm having trouble finding age-appropriate songs to sing with them. Anything tangentially related to summertime would be great - ice cream, beach, etc. Any suggestions?
Links to lyrics are a bonus, and I'd also appreciate fingerplays if you can think of any!

There is the "Opposite Song" and a funky-jazz version of "Head-Shoulders-Knees-and-Toes." Unfortunately, I don't have links to either, but if you want to schedule an appointment, I could show and share. Both are easy to learn, have easy tunes, and are full of motions.
Another one that is fall and winter related: "Button Up Your Overcoat."
A great summery Poem that I have the kids repeat is from Nikki Giovanni's Honey, I Love: "Things."
Ooh, I forgot about that Honey, I Love poem! One of my favorite books of poetry ever.
Thanks for the other suggestions, Jeff - next time I see you I'll have you demonstrate! :)
I ended up using "Swimming Pool," "Five Little Speckled Frogs," and one other that's slipping my mind at the moment. It was fun!
